Trick or Treat!

Halloween is one of my favorite holidays. My best costume from when I was a kid was a blue gameboy color that my dad constructed and painted out of a cardboard box, and I'll never forget how much people cheered when they saw it in the school costume parade that year. The most fun I've ever had on Halloween was running around Hollywood Boulevard at night with my friends, trying to take photos to complete a drunken scavenger hunt in two teams while in costume. Each team had to snap photos of themselves doing stuff like getting bit by a vampire or doing a cheerleading pyramid with at least 6 people. It was such a good night! Nowadays, my participation is all virtual, allowing me to celebrate with folks all over the world!

This year, I helped plan and coordinate the 32-bit cafe's Halloween event, including reaching out to and collaborating with 14 pixel clubs across the small web. It was such an exciting and rewarding way to help support my favorite corners of the smol web.
